So, I got back to WVU last Saturday but it feels like ages ago! For
my first full day back (SUNDAY), I slept all day and then worked from
3:30 until 8 as cashier. I was so out of it. It is way harder to get
back into the swing of things at college than it is in high school, but
it's probably because we have such a meaty break. Anyway, while I was at
work, I had two separate parties and three total people recognize me
from Open Mic Night and the one guy was also a performer who did poetry
on stage and I really liked him, I remember his poem was about birds and
it was funny because the same night I played my original song "Little
Bird". The other was a couple and the girl was like "That bird song was
so beautiful." Seriously?! She remembered my song?! I was so excited
after that. My last open mic was like 2 or 3 months ago and people still
remember me? It made all of my self-conscious flustering completely
worth it. <3 nbsp="nbsp" p="p">
Unfortunately, I do not have a cell
phone at the moment, so no pictures of my beautiful campus to make you
envious for a while. :P
